With the announcement of Transformers Legacy Evoltuions wave 1 earlier today and the reveal of the key art of this year, many things were left unaddressed (as of yet) but we might have a couple of things left as sneak peaks of figures yet to to come.
The placement of Tarn evokes his cover art for IDW’s Transformers more than meets the eye #7.
We can see an Armada Optimus Prime phasing through the Energon portal, likely indicating this the figure is on it’s way, and we’re likely to see it in wave 2 as we have with previous Commanders.
Discussed during the live stream was mentioned that Legacy Wave 2 Leader class Transmetal 2 Megatron would be featured on the Evolutions wave 1 leader assortment and seems Laser Optimus might come to accompany him too.
We also see the Nemesis Decepticon warship, given how this was also included on the Transformers Legacy Titan class Metroplex boxart we might also see it as this year’s Titan figure, note that there’s also a Quintesson Cruiser present first seen on the Behold, Galvatron! pack as a small statue.
We see the remaining two Decepticons Bombshell & Shrapnel along with last year’s Kickback and behind them we see what appear to be the 1985 characters The Deluxe Insecticons, remember that we recently received Ransack in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Creatures Collide multipack.
Interestingly although it was mentioned that the dinobots are based on the animation colours, Swoop seems to be based of the red swoop colours, red Swoop also has a figure in the generations selects line and can interact with Volcanicus.
It appears that one of the Transformers Animated space bridge portals made it unto the poster, with recent leaks alluding to a Evolutions Prowl figure, could this mean we’re getting an Animated Prowl?
We also see Senator Crosscut, a Skids repaint based on the eHobby releases, perfect for those who bought Kingdom Roadrage.
