Had my grandpa's funeral today. Surprising amount of people came, no family members (well unless you count me or my mom, even then she's only his former daughter-in-law and not a blood relative) but a bunch of people from my grandpa's church came and his pastor came too. Was a bit weird, in all honesty, because I've been to funerals before and all that (went to my grandma's and my dad's funerals) but my grandpa was cremated so it was just weird seeing his urn on display in the funeral home during the memorial service and like damn...that's all of him right there. The person who raised me and I lived with from like age 4-5 years old until his passing earlier this month, the cremains inside that urn are all that's left of him.
Then after the memorial and the funeral itself, my mom and I went out to eat a birthday lunch for me because I didn't get to have one on my actual birthday a couple days ago lol. (Yes I know like 'You buried your grandpa and then you went and got yourself some lunch?' YES)

Yep. TMM and I cremated our cat who passed most recently. It was the first time we opted for pet cremation. The box she came back in was small. The bag of ashes inside was even smaller and barely weighed anything (we buried the bag).
Also, nothing wrong with getting food afterwards.

I’m actually kind of worried by how desensitized i’ve grown to death as a consequence of my line of work TBH.
I had a odd dream last night, a sort of Power Rangers battle combined with a bit of Demon Slayer, the Demon Slayer aspect was keeping someone away from the bad guy because it would be disasterous, with the PR the heroes find much of their zords aren't working and result to use abandoned old zords from a previous team that was related to the Pink & yellow rangers, not sure how the battle turned out as it was a dream. Then another part of my dream was a failed Red Ranger meeting a verison of Zordon and combining with him, I can sort of recall the helmet of this red ranger, being a mix of SPD & Light Speed and after the combining they take off upon a bike with Zordon having taken over the Red Ranger's body & mind, it was a all round odd dream and it left me feeling tired still, despite having the standard 8 hours of rest
Now that I have to use my headphones wirelessly due to damaging the lead (the cable is removable but I don't have a replacement cable so IDK if I damaged the cable itself or where it actually plugs into the headphones but all I know for certain is that sound when plugged in now is either distorted a bit and/or very quiet - talking like 'the volume slider could say it's at 100% volume but it sounds like it's maybe 10% volume at the most', although for some fuckin reason the sound test feature in the sound settings in Linux Mint is like...totally fine? Sounds as loud as it should be, no distortion, so wtf) and I can say safely that WIRELESS HEADPHONES SUCK ******* ASS AND EVERYONE WHO SAYS THAT WIRED HEADPHONES ARE OUTDATED OR OBSOLETE CAN EAT MY ******* ASS.

I go out of way to have wired connections wherever possible.
Wireless has its uses, but it's not universal.
I agree, thou for me, I just use wireless in the form of a mobile or for the internet and my PC as I don't use my MP3 player much, in fact, I haven't used it in AGES
I kinda want a monsterarts Blue Eyes White Dragon but then I’d need to buy three.
I was looking at the Figure-Rise model kit, but I figure they'll probably make an Ultimate version at some point and I'd rather wait. Of course, I also skipped Beelzemon because I thought they'd make a Blast Mode version, and that hasn't happened yet either.
The Figure Rise looks more like one of the new cards based off BEWD or the model used in the Dimensions movie. Not a huge fan.
