Republican gubernatorial candidate Dave Reichert has latched onto the idea that putting ballot boxes at churches, firing ranges, and gun stores could help ensure free and fair elections this November–and increase conservative voter turnout.
Something tells me he wouldn't be putting any in black churches...

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

It literally says in the blurb: to increase conservative voter turnout.

So: someone needs to explain to mr. reichert there is a significant difference between encouraging conservatives to vote, and discouraging others from voting.

Most states don't. The one's that do only have them because some politician wanted to throw a bone to the gun-nut portion of their base.

It's a bit of nothing that gives you press and some bucks from 2nd Amendment nutjobs. There's no real downside from the GOP perspective.

Normally I'd question linking to the Daily Mail, but it was worth it to see them admit this is "bizarre" even by their standards.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is what you get when you use a monkey's paw to wish that a neanderthal statue at the natural history museum would come to life.
